The Power of 3's

The Power of 3's is a simple trading strategy that involves using an entire account and purchasing common stock.  Once the common stock price moves 3%, you will sell the shares and move on to another trade.  There are times when you will get more than 3% on a stock move; especially if there is a gap up the next day.  However, the trading strategy involves placing your sell order as soon as you are filled.  This does "cap" the additional profit that you could have, but it assures you that you are moving to the next trade.  This same stock can be traded over and over again in an uptrend and usually is.
